Robin L. Waters (Casper) is a California Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Reiki Master Teacher/Practitioner, Reiki Volunteer Program Coordinator for Enloe Medical Center, and author of adult/children's psychological, spiritual fiction/non-fiction. She is immersed in empowering people with Reiki healing energy treatment for self and others, as well as using the power of stories in exploring and identifying emotional expression and spiritual journeys. She is the owner of Waters N Light Reiki. As a Reiki Master Teacher, she has access to higher realms of healing energy and is on a mission to open this door, to pass on information and attunement for Reiki to as many people as possible. For this purpose, she is building a network of qualified Reiki Master Teachers to provide referrals and other opportunities, especially as she believes that the actual transmission of Reiki ability, or the attunement process, should be done in person and class practice, as well. I'm a certified teacher with 12 years of experience, including five years as a staff developer for Mathematics. Prior to this, I was involved with various disciplines, including experimental science as a Biology major at MIT, cognitive psychology as a doctoral candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University. These varied experiences help me to see the "new ways" that math is being taught (a.k.a. Common Core) through a unique lens.
