Dawn's yoga journey began in 1999 when she bought a Rodney Yee VHS yoga videotape. She made a habit of practicing yoga every day to bring fitness and stress relief to the ups and downs of daily life. After gaining momentum and comfort in her practice, Dawn met her match at a local gym a few years later. Her poses were on public display-meaning for the first time: with hands-on adjustments, cues, and practicing openly in front of others. After conquering this obstacle, she was led to seek out a permanent yoga studio and a place she could use as a hideout to put her restless mind on the back burner for an hour or two.
Nick is a lover of many facets of Eastern traditions which he seeks to blend in a way that are accessible to all, from the highly spiritual to scientific. Through struggles with severe anxiety, Nick learned techniques which brought deep sense of wellness and peace where all other options failed. As a teacher of mine said, “I like suffering, it brings me close to God” and this is truly where a deep empathic heart and desire for the truth grows in life. Nick specializes in the sharing of mantra & Kirtan in the practice of Nada Yoga. From this root, we stretch into everything; the application of bija sounds to activate chakras, an understandingly of Kundalini, yogic philosophy, a framework of living called Naturality, and just general play! This is so much more than the “bend & stretch” asana practices limited to much of Western yoga studios. Here, we have the opportunity to play with ancient knowledge in modern times. It is my hope to pass on even the tiniest spark to light a flame for you to carry upon your journey home.

I first found yoga after my son was born and I was looking for a gentle way to get back in shape. I found that and so much more! I was able to regain strength, flexibility, balance and health. I learned to accept and embrace how I look and feel with a newfound self awareness and self confidence. Throughout this journey of self discovery, I have also discovered what I am meant to do with the rest of my life; help others to feel better, live healthier and be happier in their own lives.
