Sarah McLean is a global go-to teacher for contemporary meditation and mindfulness practices. With kindness and humor, she'll share her discoveries of self-compassion, clear communication, and how to live a peaceful life. She can inspire anyone to begin or recommit to their mindfulness and meditation practice. Before settling in Sedona in 2001, Sarah traveled the world studying and practicing meditation techniques and seeking secrets to peace and fulfillment. She's lived in a traditional ashram in India and was a two year resident at a remote Zen Buddhist Monastery. Sarah founded the McLean Meditation Institute in 2006, which offers meditation training and the international Meditation Teacher Academy. Sarah is also a popular facilitator at retreats for the Chopra Center, Esalen, and many world-class spas. She has been featured on national television, in a variety of award-winning movies, and been interviewed by the New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times. Her book, the best-seller Soul-Centered: Transform Your Life in 8 Weeks with Meditation (Hay House) has inspired study groups worldwide. Her upcoming book, Love & the Power of Attention is due out in fall of 2016. Access free meditations and find out more about her here: www.McLeanMeditation.com.
I am a Technology Coach/Trainer. I am a computer savvy female geek who loves finding cool new technology tools and gadgets, and I am often the first person my friends call when they have a computer question. I am also passionate about teaching people ways to use technology to better manage everyday life. My classes are a place of learning for all beginner geeks (aka regular people). I specialize in translating technology into plain English in an environment where all questions are good questions.
