You will learn how to include a consistent amount of carbohydrates, adequate protein, and healthy fats. You will also see examples of what a Diabalanced Meal looks like. The session will end with some practical ways to apply the information.

About Creator
Jennifer Bryant, MS, RD, LD, CDE has been a Registered Dietitian for over 10 years. Jennifer has expertise in weight management and diabetes education, and is well versed in many other areas of nutrition. Jennifer is a Certified Diabetes Educator and she has her Master's Degree in Nutrition from the University of New Mexico. Jennifer spent over 9 years working at an Endocrinology Clinic in Albuquerque, NM teaching education classes and providing individual counseling for diabetes and weight loss. She is currently working at the YMCA of Central New Mexico providing education for the community. When Jennifer is not working, you'll find her volunteering at her son's elementary school, playing with her two year old daughter, and improving her fitness at the YMCA. She writes a nutrition blog (jcbryant81@wordpress.com) with advice and recipes, and is also involved with other activities at her church. She is passionate about educating and inspiring people to eat well to improve their health, energy, and overall quality of life.
