Thankfully, I have been blessed to work with some incredible mentors throughout my life that have "shown me the ropes," yet allowed me the freedom & creativity to learn my body & mind and challenged me to do things I'd never done before. From the time I was an athletic trainer in high school, learning about the human body and how it functions, I have been drawn to continue my learning in every facet possible so that I can to be a better health & fitness professional each day. I am profoundly passionate about the gifts and talents I've been blessed with and I also aspire to always be as humble as possible when it comes to learning in my industry, because that is how we grow as fitness professionals. Over the last 5 years, I have come to realize what I love most in life is being in community with others, sharing thoughts, ideas, experiences, and even health "hacks" that may add value to people's lives. Birgit Witherspoon, MS, HHC, is trained in all the dietary theories and qualified to advise people on improving their health through diet and lifestyle modifications including many programs for personal growth and self-development. The foundation for her work is the blood type diet. Yet, everybody is an individual and a one-size-fits-all approach does not work.
